# Edit Experiment

## Overview

This operation is used to edit the **Experiment** by entering its results and providing a description of its conclusions.  

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Experiment** exists and is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Select an **Experiment** and edit the Result by choosing one of the following options:

    * Success

    * Failure

    * Inconclusive

2. Describe the Conclusions of the **Experiment**.

3. Select **Edit** and add a comment, if necessary.
4. The system will confirm that the **Experiment** was updated successfully.
