# Recalculate Inspection Order Step Sample

## Overview

This operation is used to recalculate the Step Sample belonging to an **Inspection Order**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Inspection Order** exists in the system.
* Step Sample to recalculate is associated to the **Inspection Order** and is Open.

## Sequence of Steps

The Recalculate Inspection Order Step Sample wizard can be called from the *Step Samples* section of the **Inspection Order** page, accessed through the *Inspection Orders* entry in the *Quality* menu.

### Step 1: General

1. Select a Step Sample and press the *Recalculate* Review the displayed information on the Step Material Samples associated to the **Inspection Order**. The samples can be filtered for an easier review.
2. Press *Recalculate* to perform the operation.
