# Special Check-Out Employee from Maintenance Activity Order

:lock: MaintenanceActivityOrder.**SpecialCheckOut**

## Overview

This operation is used to check out an **Employee** from a **Maintenance Activity Order** (**MAO**). The difference to the normal [[user-guide-check-out-from-maintenance-activity-order]] operation is that this is intended for users who are not currently logged in the application.

## Preconditions

* The user has an **Employee** which is Active and it matches the **Employee** for which the Check-Out applies.
* The **Employee** is currently checked in at the **MAO** from which he/she intends to check out.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Authentication

1. Enter the username and password. If token authentication is configured, it is also possible to use the token as an alternative authentication method.

### Step 2: Details

1. Confirm the information presented by the Wizard.
2. Optionally, enter a Comment.
3. Select **Check-Out** to complete the operation.
