# Cancel Material Transfer

## Overview

This operation is used to cancel a **Material Transfer**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

**Material Transfer's** universal state is *Active* and its system state is *Requested* or *Approved*.  

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Details

1. Once the **Cancel** wizard is displayed, review the transaction's information.
2. Optionally, enter a comment.
3. Press **Cancel** to complete the transaction.
