# Refuse Material Transfer

## Overview

This operation is used to refuse a **Material Transfer**, as opposed to receiving it.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Material Transfer** is *Active* and *InTransport*.
* The **Material Transfer** type is not *ForReturn* and not *Refusal*.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Details

1. Select a **Material Transfer** and press the **Refuse** button to initialize the wizard.
2. Review the **Material Transfer's** information.
3. Select a refusal reason (from the Lookup Table *MaterialTransferRefuseReason*).
4. Click **Refuse** to complete the transaction.
