# Unship Material

## Overview

This operation is used to revert a *Ship Material* operation, in case a **Material** has been shipped by error.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* **Material** is Active, and it has no Parent **Material** - that is, it is a Topmost **Material**.
* **Material** is In Transit.
* If **Material** is Terminated, it must have been shipped to a local **Facility** with the Terminate On Ship option set to `true`.
* For all the selected **Materials** to be shipped with a Material Package Count greater than zero, considering the complete hierarchy (consider only Active Packages) of all the **Packages** that reference those **Materials**, those **Packages** in their hierarchy must not include other **Materials**, and the Top-Level **Packages** must be in System State Closed.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Verify the **Material** information.
2. Optionally, enter a comment.
3. Press **Unship** to complete the operation.

	It is possible to select multiple **Materials** before entering the wizard.
