# Perform Periodic Inventory

## Overview

This operation is used to perform a **Periodic Inventory**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

## Preconditions

* The **Periodic Inventory** must be Active.
* The **Periodic Inventory** system state must be *InProgress*.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1 - Resources

1. Select the **Resources** where the **Periodic Inventory** will be performed.
2. Select **Next** to select the **Materials**.

### Step 2 - Materials

1. Select the physical primary quantity to include in the **Periodic Inventory**.
2. Select the physical secondary quantity to include in the **Periodic Inventory**.
3. Press the **Perform** button to complete the operation.
