# Manage Planning

## Overview

This operation is used to define the Product's Planning details.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The Product exists and it is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Manage Planning

1. Optionally, define the cycle time (in days).
2. Optionally, the yield (in percentage, between 0% and 100%). The yield is also used to forecast the cost of a **Product**.
3. Optionally, define the minimum Material size - used when creating Materials through the *Start Production Order*.
4. Optionally define the maximum Material size - used when creating Materials through the *Start Production Order*.
5. Press **Update** to complete the transaction.
