# Manage Sub-Products

## Overview

This operation is used to define the possible Product changes, including automatic Product changes.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The Product exists and is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Manage Sub-Products

1. Specify as many allowed Product sub-products as necessary (using the :material-plus: and :material-trash-can: buttons on the grid to add and remove rows), providing for each one:

      * The target **Product**.
      * Optionally, the **Product** change description.
      * The Facility (used to restrict the changes to that Facility).
      * The Step (used to restrict the changes to that Step).
      * The Type of Product change (values are taken from the Lookup table *SubProductType*).
      * Whether the change is automatic (when the Material arrives to that Step or Facility) or not.

2. Select **Update** to complete the operation.
