# Change Product and Quantity

## Overview

This operation is used to change the **Product** and/or the quantity of a **Production Order**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Production Order** must be active and must not be in the state *Created* or *Closed*.
* If changing the **Product**, the **Production Order** delivery quantity must be zero.
* If changing the **Product** and the **Production Order** has the property Validate material products set, all existing **Production Order** **Materials** must have a **Product** that belongs to the **Production Order** **Product** reverse Sub-Product tree.
* If changing the quantity, the new quantity must be greater than zero.

## Sequence of Steps

This screen captures all the information necessary to complete the operation.

1. Optionally, review the **Production Order** details by expanding the **Production Order** section.
2. Optionally, specify a new  **Production Order** **Product**.
3. Optionally, specify a new  **Production Order** quantity.

	    Information on the Product Yield (in percentage) as well as the Yield Adjusted Quantity will be displayed on screen.

4. Press **Change** to complete the operation.
