# Restrict Production Order

:lock: ProductionOrder.**Restrict**

## Overview

This option is used to restrict a **Production Order**.  A restricted **Production Order** cannot have Materials being added, removed or assigned to it with the exception of Split and Expand Material.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Production Order** must be active and must not be in the state *Closed*.
* The **Production Order** must be unrestricted.

## Sequence of Steps

This screen captures all the necessary information to complete the operation.

1. Optionally, review the **Production Order** details.
2. Press **Restrict** to complete the transaction.
