# Unterminate Protocol

## Overview

This operation is used to Unterminate a **Protocol**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Protocol** exists in the system and is in the Terminated state.

## Sequence of Steps

The Unterminate Protocol wizard can be called from the **Protocol** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: Change Set

1. Select an existing Change Set or select Create to create a new **Change Set**. If configured to support implicit **Change Sets**, it is also possible to check the option Use Automatic Change Set.
2. Optionally, select an Approval Role.

### Step 2: Details

1. Select **Unterminate** to perform the operation. All generic/smart table rows that reference this object will not be recovered.
