# Edit Qualification Check

## Overview

This operation is used to edit a **Qualification Check**.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Qualification Check** exists in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: General Data

1. Optionally, edit the description of the **Qualification Check**.
2. Optionally, edit the Data Group.
3. Optionally, edit the Instance Type of the **Qualification Check**.

    !!! note
        This change will only take effect when the next Maintenance Activity Orders are created.

4. Select **Save** to complete the operation and the **Qualification Check** will be edited.
