# Compare Recipes

## Overview

This operations allows for a head-to-head comparison of two **Recipes**.

## Preconditions

No special preconditions are required to perform this operation.

## Sequence of Steps

1. Press the **Compare** Button. This will open the *Compare Recipe View*.
2. Choose two **Recipes** to compare. By default, the **Recipe** whose *Compare Recipe View* was opened is chosen for the first Recipe Position.
3. Compare the **Parameters**, *Checksum* and *Body Text*. Differences in **Parameters** and *Body Text* are highlighted in different colors.
