--- alias: user-guide-manage-resource-locations description: "Manage resource locations involves editing and adding details to associated locations" --- # Manage Resource Locations :lock: Resource.**Edit** ## Overview This operation is used to manage all the Resource Locations associated to a specific **Resource**. ## Setup No setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction. ## Preconditions * The **Resource** exists, it is Active and has Processing Type Process or Consumable Feed. * The **Resource** has the Has Resource Locations property enabled. ## Sequence of Steps ### Step 1 1. Select an appropriate **Resource**, navigate to the Locations section and select the **Manage** button. 2. Add as many Resource Locations as desired (select :material-plus: to add, and :material-trash-can: to remove) - specify at least one item, and provide for each item the following information: * The Location Name. * Optionally, a description. * Optionally, the Barcode ID used for identification. * The value for Location X. * The value for Location Y (only if processing type is Process). * The Position Size. * Define whether the Resource Location is enabled. 3.
