# Reset Setup

## Overview

This operation is used to Reset the **Setup** of a **Resource**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Resource** exists, it is Active and Non-Template.
* The Processing Type of the **Resource** is Process or Line.
* The **Resource** property In Setup must be `false`.
* The **Resource** property Current Material is defined.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Reset Setup

1. Select a **Resource** matching the preconditions.
2. Select the **Reset** button on the top ribbon followed by the **Reset Setup** option:

3. In the Reset Setup wizard confirm the information.
4. Optionally, enter a comment.
5. Select **Reset Setup** to complete the operation.
