# Edit Send-Ahead Run

## Overview

This operation is used to edit an existing **Send-Ahead Run**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Send-Ahead Run** exists in the system, the System State is Active and the state is Open.

## Sequence of Steps

The Edit Send-Ahead Run wizard can be called from the **Send-Ahead Run** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

If the **Send-Ahead Run** result is `Pass`, the following information cannot be modified:

* Start Flow
* Start Flow Path
* Start Step
* Wait Flow
* Wait Flow Path
* Wait Logical Path
* Wait Step
* Evaluation Flow
* Evaluation Flow Path
* Evaluation Logical Path
* Evaluation Step

To modify any of these properties, use [Extend Send-Ahead Run](extend_send_ahead_run.md) instead.

	The name of the **Send-Ahead Run** cannot be altered.
