# Manage Resources Services

## Overview

This operation is used to manage the Resources that can be associated with the Service.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.  

## Preconditions

1. The Resource exists in the system and it is Active.
2. The Service exists in the system and it is Active.
3. The Resource has a processing Type different from *Durable* and from *Component*.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Add, edit or remove the Resources that can be associated with the **Service** by clicking the + or remove buttons on the top right-hand side of the grid.
2. Confirm the details of the Resource being associated with the **Service** on the right-hand side of the screen.
3. Select **Update** to confirm the operation.
