# Edit Transfer Order

## Overview

This operation is used to edit a Transfer Order.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The Transfer Order exists in the system and is active.
* The Transfer Order system state must be *Open*.

## Sequence of Steps

The Edit Transfer Order wizard can be called from the **Transfer Order** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The *Name* of the **Transfer Order** cannot be altered.
