# Split Transfer Requirement

## Overview

This operation is used to split a **Transfer Requirement**. There are several possible reasons to split a **Transfer Requirement**:

* Some **Materials** are not yet available;
* Some **Materials** have a Floor Life and are supposed to be picked up separately;

	The main **Transfer Requirement** is called *Parent* **Transfer Requirement** and the split **Transfer Requirement** is called *Child* **Transfer Requirement**.

## Setup

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions.

## Preconditions

* The **Transfer Requirement** must be Active.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Select a **Transfer Requirement** in the appropriate system state.
2. Press the **Split** button to complete the operation.
3. Select the **Transfer Requirement** items that should be included in the new **Transfer Requirement**. The following filters can be used for selection:
   1. Materials from Products with Floor Life;
   2. Materials not available in the Source Location
4. Press the **Split** button to complete the transaction.
