# Reprocess Data Set

:lock: CmfDataSet.**Reprocess**

## Overview

The **Reprocess** operation allows you to reprocess existing **Data Sets** that are currently in the Pending or Error state. This operation is typically used when:

* A previous processing attempt failed.
* The **Data Set** remained in a Pending state due to system conditions.
* Configuration or data issues have been corrected and the **Data Set** must be processed again.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Data Set** exists in the system.
* The **Data Set** State is either Pending or Error.

## Sequence of Steps

The **Reprocess Data Sets** wizard can be accessed from the **Data Set** page within the Data Platform group.

### Step 1: General Data

1. Navigate to the **Data Set** page.
2. Use the State filter to display only **Data Sets** in Pending or Error state.
3. Select one or more **Data Sets** to be reprocessed.
4. Select **Reprocess** to complete the operation.
