# Future Actions

## Material Future Actions

There is **Future Actions** section displayed in the **Material** Details View page, which allows you to visualize the future actions that are planned for the **Material** and which it will undergo.

You can also manage and edit these **Future Actions** and view the Terminated ones. For more information, see [[manage-material-future-actions]].

	You are able to Sort by, filter by Step, and Expand any of the Future Actions.  

In **Future Actions** Split, Split For Step, and Merge - only in these cases, when a **Material** is waiting for Merge or (Manual) Split or Split For Step a small identification badge will be displayed immediately after the **Material** in the entity page and in the **Resource** and **Step** views. Additionally, this identification badge will be available in Experiments and for other actions when the Split Scope property is set For Multiple Step or For Current Step; or when the Action property is set to Split or Merge.

## Step Future Actions

There is also a **Future Actions** section in the **Step** page, in the Details View. Similarly to the section on the **Material** page, you can see which actions are planned for the **Step**. You can also manage, edit, and see the Terminated ones.
