# Automatic Track-In ## Overview This feature enables Automatic MES material Track-In to the current Resource. !!! note "Currently supported event names:" - BoardTracking - BoardRequest - TraceabilityData - BoardProduced ## How To Configure ### Relevant Artifacts The table below describes the properties for this entity type: | Name | Type | Is Mandatory | Data Type | Description | | :-------------------- | :--------- | :----------: | :-------- | :----------------------------------------------- | | IoTMetadataDefinition | SmartTable | Yes | | Metadata configuration for equipment integration | ### IoTMetadataDefinition Resource Level Configuration At the **Resource** level, there are several configurations we can make to set this feature. | Resource | Resource Type | Area | Name | Value | Description | | ---------------------- | ------------- | ---- | ---------------------------- | -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | *MES OIB Resource* | | | useOIBToTrackIn | Any supported event name | Enable Track-In operation for the specified event. | | *MES OIB Resource* | | | waitForPreviousTrackout | <ResourceName>, MES \| Flag, [Retries=10], [Interval=1000] | Enables waiting for the material to be Tracked-Out at the specified resource. if 'MES' is specified, the service *GetObjectByName* will be used to get the Track-Out info. If 'Flag' is specified, the internal persistency flags will be used. Optional parameters 'Retries' and 'Interval' allow specifying a maximum number of polling attempts and delay interval between them. | *MES OIB Resource* | | | waitIfRecipeIsBeingChanged | <True>, [Retries=10], [Interval=1000] | Enable waiting while a Recipe change is in progress. Optional parameters 'Retries' and 'Interval' allows specifying a maximum pooling number and a delay interval between them. | *MES OIB Resource* | | | DoPreviousTrackOut | <ResourceName> | Enables a Track-Out operation to be performed at <ResourceName> just before the Track-In | | *MES OIB Resource* | | | useTrackInOperation | ComplexTrackIn | MES Track-In operation to be performed on the current Material. `ComplexDispatchAndTrackIn` or `ComplexTrackIn`. Defaults to `ComplexTrackIn` if not defined. |
