# Material Partial TrackOut

## Overview

The Material Partial TrackOut feature aims to automatically detach the material from the parent material in a line flow and move it to the next step when the material is tracked out.

### Concept

When a Material is tracked out, the Material will be automatically detached from the parent material and moved to the next step.

    - The SmartTable [SMTPartialTrackOutContext](../artifacts/tables.md#smtpartialtrackoutcontext) must be configured.
    - The material must be a sub material

## Administration

To use this feature, the config `/SMT/MaterialPartialTrackOut/IsEnabled` must be enabled.
