# Business Workflow (Preview)

A Business Workflow is a low code workflow intended to be designed by Citizen Developers for some simple scenarios, like responding to a business event, or by triggering an action from an UI Page. A Citizen Developer is a persona that is not an IT Expert but that has some understanding about workflows.

A Business Workflow, when changing its Universal State to Effective, creates a read-only DEE action with C# code that corresponds to the Workflow designed that will be triggered when a Business Event occurs.
