--- alias: user-guide-ai-administration-index description: "Manage the administration objects that support AI prompts, agents, and tool connectivity in Critical Manufacturing MES" --- # AI Administration ![AI Administration page.](../images/administration-ai-admin.png) The **AI** administration objects define how Critical Manufacturing MES connects prompts, agents, and tool servers for AI-assisted scenarios. Use this area to manage the following administration objects: * [[user-guide-ai-agent|AI Agent]] - defines the logical AI agents that can be used by **AI** interactions. * [[aiagentmodelconfiguration-st|AIAgentModelConfiguration]] - configures model parameters to apply to an **AI Agent** during synchronization. * [[user-guide-ai-mcp-server|AI MCP Server]] - defines the MCP-compatible tool servers that can be used by **AI** agents. * [[aiagentcontext-st|AIAgentContext]] - resolves the AI Agent to use for an AI capability. * [[user-guide-ai-librechat-integration|LibreChat Integration]] - explains how **AI Agents** and **MCP Servers** become available in the runtime. * [[user-guide-ai-rag-runtime|RAG Runtime]] - describes the runtime components that support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) scenarios. ## How These Objects Work Together The typical configuration flow is the following: 1. Configure one or more **AI MCP Servers** that expose the tools required by your runtime. 2. Configure the **AI Agents** that define the behavior and instructions for a given AI interaction. 3. Use the [[aiagentcontext-st|AIAgentContext]] SmartTable to resolve an **AI Agent** for the required AI capability. For more information on capability-based agent resolution, see [[user-guide-ai-prompt-configuration|Prompt Configuration]].
