# Edit Change Package

## Overview

This operation is used to Edit an existing **Change Package**.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than meeting the preconditions of the operation.

## Preconditions

* The **Change Package** exists in the system and is in the `Draft` state.

## Sequence of Steps

The **Edit Change Package** wizard is available from the **Change Package** page within the Administration group.

### Step 1: General Data

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The name of the **Change Package** cannot be altered.

1. Select **Edit** from the top action bar.
2. Update the non-system properties.
3. Optionally, enter a comment for the operation.
4. Select **Save** to update the changes.

    Change Packages do not support new versions. Use revisions to update an existing Change Package.
