# Menu Entry Scope

## Overview

The context in which a **UI Page** can be used is determined by the Scope. The **Menu Entry** scope attaches a **UI Page** to a specific menu entry of Critical Manufacturing MES.

This scope is typically used for dashboards or pages that belong to a functional area and should be accessible from a defined location in the menu structure.

## Pin to Quick Access

**UI Pages** with a **Menu Entry** scope can be pinned to Quick Access. When enabling Pin To Quick Access, you can define whether the pinned entry is available to:

* All Users;
* A specific Role.

When pinned, the **UI Page** appears in the **Dashboards** section of the selected menu entry, making it immediately visible when users access that menu.
