# Manage Product Manufacturers

## Overview

This operation is used to define the Business Partners (Manufacturers) associated to this **Product**.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The Product exists and it is Active.
* The Product Type is Raw Material, Part or Durable.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1: Manage Product Manufacturers

Select the Product Manufacturer sub-section in the Details View panel and select **Manage** to open the **Manage Product Manufacturers** wizard.

1. Add as many Product Manufacturers as needed. For each one, provide the Business Partner name and Part Number. Optionally, you can also specify:
      * Moisture Sensitivity Level - The Floor Life and Floor Life Unit of Time values are filled automatically based on the selected level. Values come from the [[moisturesensitivitylevel-lt]] lookup table.
      * Capacity Class - Values come from the [[capacityclass-lt]] lookup table. This property applies only to scheduling on Tunnel and Batch Resources.
      * Standard Quantity - The standard quantity of the supplied part.
      * Note - an optional note to the manufacturer.
2. Select **Update** to complete the operation.

!!! warning
    If there are more than one Product Manufacturer defined for a single Product, the combination between Business Partner and Part Number must be unique.
