# Edit Sort Rule Set

## Overview

This operation is used to Edit a **Sort Rule Set**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Sort Rule Set** exists in the system.

## Sequence of Steps

The Edit Sort Rule Set wizard can be called from the **Sort Rule Set** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.

The **Name** of the **Sort Rule Set** in the General Data tab cannot be altered.

Additionally, in the Sort Rules tab, the Rules cannot be altered.
