Security Portal Introduction#

The following sections contain all relevant details about Critical Manufacturing Security Portal and its sub-components.

Overview#

Security Portal is a multi-tenant application that acts as an IMS (Identity Management System) where you can manage the user credentials internally or integrate it with external Single Sign-On platforms, such as Office 365 or Windows Active Directory. Integration with external systems can be achieved through the use of Authentication Strategies.

The goal of Security Portal is to be the center piece of all security-related interfaces to all Critical Manufacturing products.

With Security Portal, all products use the same, unified, authentication mechanism. Providing state-of-art security and access control management to all products within our ecosystem.

Critical Manufacturing Security Portal ships by default with a set of strategies but more can be added through customization.
