# How to: Detach Material

### 1\. Go to the Business Data menu.

### 2\. Select the Material entity.

### 3\. Select the desired Material.

### 4\. Select the More button.

### 5\. Select the Detach option.

### 6\. Under the Detach Material wizard select the desired Sub-Material to Detach.

### 7\. Select the Next button.

### 8\. Verify the information of every Sub-Material to be Detached.

### 9\. Select the Detach button.
