# Scenario 2: Material Sort Rule Set on a Resource

In this scenario, use the `HighPriorityMaterialSorting` **Sort Rule Set** provided in the [master data file](../masterdata/sort-rules-set-masterdata.xlsx).

1. Open the `Coater-001` Resource View. Before any **Sort Rule Set** is assigned, the materials are sorted by the Material column in alphabetical order.

2. Assign the **Material Sort Rule Set** to the Resource property.

3. Open the `Coater-001` Resource View again. The **Materials** are now sorted:

    - First by **Priority**
    - Second by **Date Entered Step**
