# Terminate Event Rule

## Overview

This operation is used to Terminate an **Event Rule**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Alarm Management** module is properly licensed in the system.
* The **Event Rule** exists in the system and it is Active.

## Sequence of Steps

The Terminate Event Rule wizard is called from the **Event Rule** page within the Administration Group.

### Step 1: General Data

1. Select **Terminate** to perform the operation.

    An Event Rule uses Lookup Table references.
