System UI Pages#
There are several UI Pages that are available out of the box after installing the Critical Manufacturing MES. These UI Pages are custom-designed and serve specific purposes within the application, being used in multiple sections, dashboards and user interfaces of the Critical Manufacturing MES, with predefined variable links, parameters and other configurations seamlessly designed for optimum interoperability.
However, they can also be used by any user with the proper permissions as inner sections of larger user-created dashboards, provided the adequate links are established.
Warning
System UI Pages cannot be edited or deleted since doing so would damage the functionalities provided out of the box by the system. There are two ways for you to edit the contents of an existing UI Page:
- Clone - System UI Pages can be cloned directly into another identical object in the system that can undergo an approval process such as any other versioned object. For more information, see Clone.
- Export - You can export a system UI Page to an XML file and that exported file can be then imported back into the system, provided the name is changed directly in the XML file. For more information, see For more information, see Export and Import.
You can filter the UI Pages to display the system UI Pages by checking the System Items checkbox in the UI Pages landing page:
