This page will only apply for repositories of type `Directory`. The view aims to bring more transparency into what packages are deployed and available to use in the system and also to interact with the repository. ## How It Works The page will retrieve the index information from the repository directory and present to the user all the packages that are currently deployed. The page will show all the packages deployed, either packages that are deployed through customization or through the MES installation. ![Automation Repository](./images/automation_repository.png) ## Sequence Of Steps The necessary steps for correctly configuring and using **Automation Repository** is the following: 1. Configure the `RepositoryType` in the **Configuration** menu under the Administration section. Ensure that the Directory value is set, otherwise an error message will be displayed. For more information, see [[system-configuration-entries]]. 2. Configure the `RepositoryLocation` in the **Configuration** menu under the Administration section. For more information, see [[system-configuration-entries]].
