# Import Automation Controller Workflow

## Overview

This operation is used to import a **Automation Controller** Workflow that has been previously exported.

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Automation Controller** exists in the system and is in Active or Created state.

## Sequence of Steps

The Import Automation Controller Workflow wizard can be called from the workflow editor within the **Automation Controller** page.

## Step 1: General Data

1. Open the workflow designer and press the three dots on the right hand side of the *Pages* panel. Press **Import** to open the wizard.
2. Select the name of the new **Automation Workflow** to be created after the import process is completed.
3. Select the **Automation Workflow** to import.
4. Press **Import** to complete the operation.
