Overview#

This operation is used to Edit a Automation Workflow.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Automation Workflow exists in the system.

Sequence of Steps#

The Edit Automation Workflow wizard can be called from the Automation Workflow page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: General Data#

  1. All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.
  2. Update the Description of the Automation Workflow as needed.
  3. Modify the Data Group selection if required.

Step 2: Select Task Packages#

  1. Review and modify the Task Packages that are available in the workflow editor panel.
  2. Select or unselect additional Task Packages as needed for your workflow requirements.

  3. Click Edit to apply the changes to the task package selection.

    Impact on Workflow Design

    Changes to task packages will affect the available tasks in the workflow designer. Ensure that existing workflow logic is compatible with the new task selection.
