Business Data#
Overview#
Business Data presents a uniform access to all the entities of the system.
The different entities are displayed by selecting the Business Data menu. It is also possible to target specific entities by using the Search box.
When an entity type is selected, a default query is run. You can change the query by selecting the appropriate one from the dropdown list above the list of available entities.
Actions#
Each entity gives you the possibility to perform one or several of the following actions:
- Create a new instance for the entity by selecting New.
- Create a new template for the entity by selecting New Template.
- Create a new instance from a template for the entity by selecting New from Template.
- Refresh the data by selecting Refresh.
- Import files by selecting Import.
- Export files by selecting Export. It is possible to export the files as .zip by setting the option Compress File to ´true´.
- Search for particular entity instances by using the Search box.
Info
The search can be based on partial text and it includes templates and terminated instances.
For any particular entity within the Business Data menu, access to the page is associated with the security feature [EntityTypeName].Show.
