Track-In Batch#
Batch.TrackIn
Overview#
This operation is used to Track-In a given Batch.
Setup#
No specific setup is required other than to meet the precondition of the transaction.
Preconditions#
- The Batch exists in the system and is Active.
- The Batch System State is Queued.
- The Batch Load State is Loaded.
- All Batch Materials must be Queued at the Batch Step, must have the same Primary Units as the Batch units and must be in the same Facility as the Batch Facility.
- For all Batch Materials other than the Main Batch Material, if you defined a Step for a given Material, it must match the Material current Step.
- The Batch Resource must be in Batch Processing Mode and must be in the same Facility as the Batch Facility.
Sequence of Steps#
- Choose a Queued Batch, then select the Track-In button on the top ribbon.

A wizard will appear with the list of the Batch Items, as shown below.

Optionally, enter a comment for the operation.
- Select Next.

A wizard displaying Resource Details will appear, as shown below. Here, you can select the Resource State from the following options: Productive, Standby, or Engineering.

- Select Track-In.
Info
After you Track-In a Batch, its System State will change to In Process, as well as all the Batch Materials. The Batch Resource Job System State will change to Executing, and the Load State will change to Loaded.
