# Cancel Change Set

## Overview

This operation is used to Cancel a **Change Set**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Change Set** exists in the system.
* The **Change Set** is Active.
* If an Owner is defined for the **Change Set**, the current user **Employee** must be the Owner.

## Sequence of Steps

The Cancel Change Set wizard can be called from the **Change Set** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

1. Select **Cancel** on the top ribbon.
2. Review the **Cancel Change Set** information.
3. Optionally, enter a comment.
4. Select **Cancel Change Set** to complete the operation.
