Manage Change Set State Reviewers#

Overview#

This operation is used to manage the state reviewers associated to a Change Set.

Setup#

No special setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • Change Set exists and it is in the Active, Created or InApproval state.
  • Change Set is set with a workflow an approval method.

Sequence of Steps#

  1. Select an appropriate Change Set, navigate to the State Reviewers section and select the Manage button.

  2. For each of the available states in the approval workflow, add reviewers (select in the top right of the grid to add, and to remove) and provide for each item the following information:

    • Reviewer Type
      • Role
      • Employee
    • Approval Type
      • Approver - If the Reviewer is set as Approver they must explicitly approve the Change Set at a certain state (this action is mandatory and relevant).
      • Observer - If the Reviewer is set as Observer they can add, approve or reject, but the response is not required and not relevant for the Change Set approval, but it will be kept in the historical details of the state transition approval.

  3. Select Update to complete the operation.
