Take Change Set Ownership#

ChangeSet.TakeOwnership

Overview#

This operation is used to take ownership of a Change Set.

Setup#

No special setup is required, other than to meet the transaction's preconditions.

Preconditions#

• Change Set exists and it's in the "Active".
• The user has an active Employee object associated with it.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1 - General Data#

1. Select an appropriate Change Set.
2. Press the Take Ownership button on the top ribbon.
3. The information on the Change Set items will be displayed on the wizard.
4. By clicking Take Ownership, the Change Set owner will be changed to the Employee that performs the operation.
