# Unterminate Data Collection Instance

## Overview

This operation is used to Unterminate a **Data Collection Instance**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Data Collection Instance** exists in the system and is in the Terminated state.

## Sequence of Steps

The **Unterminate Data Collection Instance** wizard can be called from the **Data Collection Instance** page, accessible from within its parent **Data Collection**, located within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: Details

1. Select **Unterminate** to perform the operation. All generic/smart table rows that reference this object will not be recovered.
