Unterminate Data Collection#

Overview#

This operation is used to Unterminate a Data Collection.

Setup#

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

Preconditions#

  • The Data Collection exists in the system and is in the Terminated state.

Sequence of Steps#

The Unterminate Data Collection wizard can be called from the Data Collection page within the Business Data Group.

Step 1: Change Set#

  1. Select an existing Change Set or select Create to create a new Change Set. If configured to support implicit Change Sets, it is also possible to check the option Use Automatic Change Set.
  2. Optionally, select an Approval Role.

Step 2: Details#

  1. Select Unterminate to perform the operation. All generic/smart table rows that reference this object will not be recovered.

Info

Unterminating a Data Collection will also unterminate its associated Data Collection Parameters. However, unterminating a Data Collection will not unterminate any associated Data Collection Limit Sets. To unterminate a Data Collection Limit Set, navigate to its respective entity page and unterminate it manually. For more information, see Unterminate Data Collection Limit Set.
