## Overview

This operation is used to View a **Document**.  

## Setup

No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the transaction.

## Preconditions

* The **Document** exists in the system.
* The file referenced by the **Document** is part of the [[user-guide-supported-document-types|supported document types]].

## Sequence of Steps

The View Document operation can be called from the **Document** page within the Business Data Group.

### Step 1: General Data

1. Select **View** to perform the operation. The file will be opened in the browser if supported.
