Edit Employee#
Employee.Edit
Overview#
This operation is used to Edit a Employee.
Setup#
No specific setup is required other than to meet the preconditions of the operation.
Preconditions#
- The Employee exists in the system and is active.
- If an Area is defined, the Day Start Time and Starts At Previous Day of the Calendar of that Area must be the same as the one defined for the Employee Calendar.
- If the User is already assigned to a Team or a Workgroup, the Employee Calendar cannot be changed.
Sequence of Steps#
The Edit Employee wizard can be called from the Employee page within the Business Data Group.
Step 1: General Data#
All non-system properties can be changed in this wizard.
The Name of the Employee cannot be altered.
