Manage Employee Certification#
Certification.Manage
Overview#
This operation allows you to manage the information of a specific Certification from one or more Employees, meaning that the Employee Certification Details can be updated.
Preconditions#
- The user must belong to the Owner Role of the Certification
- The Certification must have the property Grant Type set to Manual.
Sequence of Steps#
To manage one or more Certifications for a specific Employee, open the page of the Employee, navigate to the Certifications section of the page, select the Certification to be managed, and select the Manage button.
Step 1: Details#
- Confirm the Certification of the Employee that should be managed.
- If the State of the Certification is Assigned you can only edit the Planned Date.
- If the State of the Certification is Active you can edit the Certification Date and set if the Employee is a Trainer or Trainee.
- The validity date is determined by the Certification validation date. However, if the Employee is set as Trainee the validation date is determined by:
Certification Date + Training Maximum Duration. - Optionally enter a comment.
- Select Update to complete the operation.
