Release Maintenance Activity Order#

MaintenanceActivityOrder.Release

Overview#

This operation releases a Maintenance Activity Order (MAO) which is in the Approved state. A released MAO can be initiated at any time. If the Maintenance Activity is configured to be automatically released, this operation is not necessary.

Preconditions#

• The MAO is in the Approved execution state.
• The user must belong to the Maintenance Plan Instance Owner Role.
• The MAO must not be included in another MAO, that is, the Parent MAO property must be null.

Sequence of Steps#

Step 1#

1. Verify the information regarding the MAOs.

   Note

   It is possible to select multiple MAOs before entering the Release Maintenance Activity Order wizard.

2. Accept or update the Schedule Date.

3. Optionally, change the owner Employee or owner Role.

   Note

   If you are releasing multiple MAOs at the same time, the owner must be the same for all the selected MAOs.

4. Optionally, enter a comment.

5. Select Release to complete the operation.
