# Special Accept Maintenance Activity Order

:lock: MaintenanceActivityOrder.**SpecialAccept**

## Overview

This operation accepts a **Maintenance Activity Order** (**MAO**) which is in the Waiting For Acceptance state. The transaction is similar to the [[user-guide-accept-maintenance-activity-order]] except that the current user is not required to belong to the **Maintenance Plan Instance** Owner Role of the **MAO**.

## Preconditions

* The **MAO** is in the Waiting for Acceptance execution state.
* The **MAO** must not be included in another **MAO**, that is, the Parent **MAO** property must be `null`.

## Sequence of Steps

### Step 1

1. Verify the information regarding the **MAOs**.

    !!! note
        It is possible to select multiple MAOs before entering the Special Accept Maintenance Activity Order wizard.

2. The effective completion date/time is presented and can be overriden.
3. Optionally, enter a Comment.
4. Select **Accept** to complete the transaction.
